Team visit to Cubs in Shaldon
On Monday 17th June 5 members of the team visited the cub section of the River Teign Sea Scouts in Shaldon and helped run an activity evening. The cubs, who were between 8 and 10 years old, learnt a little about the team and then practiced some team related skills including carrying a stretcher, splinting, using throw lines and searching. The Dartmoor Search and Rescue Ashburton Team Leader said ' It was great to see the cubs getting so involved in what we do. I'm sure we met some future team members during he evening'
