Injured climber at Holwell Quarry

We were called following a report of an injured climber at Holwell Quarry, Haytor.

Teams quickly found and assessed the climber, who had a fracture and dislocation of their ankle following a 5 meter fall, but he was otherwise in good spirits.

We transported the climber and his climbing partner back to Haytor car park in our land rover and handed over to the waiting ambulance crew.

We hope to see the injured climber back on their feet and out climbing again soon.
