Injured Horse rider at Ugborough Beacon

 

At 19:49hrs the team were called out to assist South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust for an individual who had taken a bad fall from a horse near the summit of Ugborough Beacon.

One of our 4*4 vehicles was deployed onto the moor and our volunteers assisted the SWAST personnel with the extraction of the individual to their vehicle.

The team stood down at 21:55hrs, 23 team members responded to this incident.
