Without you we couldn’t operate and essentially save lives as each year we need to find in excess of £50,000 to continue. This figure is made up almost entirely from public donations as the team receives no funding from the Government. Hence team members are not just involved with callouts and team training, but fundraising events as well.

Don’t forget our team members and their families!

We are also indebted to all our team members and their families. Team members give up an enormous amount of time in volunteering for the team. Not just on callouts but also the regular training sessions, fundraising activities and specialist learning to gain qualifications in areas such as Casualty Care, Rope Rescue and Swift Water Training. They couldn’t do it without the support of their families which can be difficult at times, especially when the callout text message comes in at 3am!
