Exeter search finds a body

Dartmoor Rescue volunteers were called out at 01:50 this morning to assist Devon and Cornwall Police with a search in the Haven Banks area of Exeter. We were joined by North Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team and worked alongside Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service until being stood down at 06:45.

We were saddened to learn that the missing person's body was recovered from the River Exe 6 days after our search by Police divers. Our thoughts are very much with the family
